Uzbekistan, Iran agree to step up business cooperation PHOTO

Uzbekistan and Iran have agreed to step up business cooperation and begin the practical implementation of agreements reached between the two countries.

According to Caliber.Az, citing Uzbek media, the sides discussed ways to expand trade, economic and investment ties, as well as cooperation in agriculture and stronger interregional relations.

The meeting also focused on the results of the Uzbek-Iranian agricultural business forum held the previous day.

The participants reviewed the implementation of agreements reached during the forum and discussed tasks set out in a memorandum signed as part of the event.
