WarGonzo journalist denied entry to Armenia

WarGonzo project journalist Dmitry Seleznev was denied entry into Armenia, according to a statement from the project.

Seleznev was travelling to Yerevan with his family for a holiday. He is currently awaiting a return flight and official documents explaining the decision by Armenian security services. Further details are being sought.

WarGonzo described the incident as a “first in a long time” and suggested it could be seen as an unfriendly move towards Russia, noting that it is unusual for a prominent Russian journalist to be barred from entering the country.
