Weapons to become more accessible in Armenia

The Armenian Parliament has adopted a bill on amending the law "On the regulation of the circulation of weapons" and related laws.
According to the changes, the process of acquiring and using firearms is greatly facilitated, Caliber.Az report, citing Armenian media.
The minimum age of citizens who purchase weapons will be 21 years old, and the 5-year experience of owning smooth-bore weapons, which is mandatory for the purchase of rifled weapons, will be cancelled.
The law will enter into force six months after its official publication.
