Wedding in Kütahya, Türkiye leaves dozens hospitalised

Twenty-one people who attended a wedding ceremony in the Turkish city of Kütahya fell ill after consuming food served at the event.

The affected individuals were taken to the emergency departments of Evliya Çelebi Training and Research Hospital and Kütahya City Hospital, reporting symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, and diarrhoea, Caliber.Az reports via Turkish media.

The Kütahya Provincial Health Directorate confirmed that all patients received necessary medical care, their overall condition is stable, and follow-up treatment is ongoing.

Authorities have launched an investigation into the incident through the Kütahya Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office.
