Yerevan hosts US-Armenia strategic dialogue

A working group on defense and security issues met in Yerevan on December 7 as part of the regular meeting of the Armenian-American strategic dialogue.

According to Caliber.Az, this was reported to the Armenian media by the press service of the Armenian Defense Ministry.

The meeting was attended by representatives of the Armenian Security Council, ministries of defense, foreign affairs, high-tech industry, the National Security Service, the State Revenue Committee, and from the American side, representatives of the Secretariat of the Department of Defense, the State Department and the Kansas National Guard.

Armenian Deputy Defense Minister Arman Sargsyan highly appreciated the cooperation between Armenia and the United States and emphasized the importance of its further expansion.

During the meeting, the possibilities of interaction on industry issues and the implementation of joint projects were discussed.

The parties identified priorities and expressed their readiness to take steps to implement them.
