06 July 2026 20:42

Armenia and Russia have reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening cooperation in trade, economic affairs, and industry following high-level talks held on the sidelines of the INNOPROM-2026 international industrial exhibition in Yekaterinburg.

Armenian Economy Minister Gevorg Papoyan met with Russian Minister of Industry and Trade Anton Alikhanov to review the current state of bilateral relations and discuss opportunities for further cooperation, Caliber.Az reports, citing Armenian media.

The ministers focused on prospects for expanding industrial collaboration, advancing joint investment projects, and deepening economic ties between the two countries.

They also exchanged views on a range of other issues and reaffirmed their readiness to maintain a constructive dialogue on matters of mutual interest.

Earlier in the day, Papoyan participated in a meeting of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) Council for Industrial Policy, which was also held in Yekaterinburg.
