Yerevan, Moscow to discuss broadcasting of Russian TV channels in Armenia

Armenian Deputy Minister of High-Tech Industry Avet Poghosyan has said that Yerevan and Moscow will discuss the broadcasting of Russian TV channels in Armenia in mid-December. 

“The Ministry of High-Tech Industry officially appealed to the Russian side with a request to hold consultations regarding the implementation of the agreements reached between the relevant councils of the two countries on cooperation in mass telecommunications. The Russian side accepted the invitation. The consultations on violations of paragraphs 4 and 5 of the interstate agreement in mass telecommunications between Armenia and Russia, as well as on the fulfilment of obligations reached upon the agreement are planned to be held in mid-December,” Poghosyan told Armenpress.
