Yerevan says next “3+3” meeting venue to be decided via diplomatic channels A response to Baku’s proposal
Armenian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Ani Badalyan has responded to Azerbaijan’s proposal regarding the next meeting of the “3+3” regional cooperation platform, emphasising that the venue and date will be determined through diplomatic channels."
"As recorded in the joint communiqué of the platform, the location and date of the next ministerial session will be agreed upon through diplomatic channels," Badalyan said, Caliber.Az reports, citing Armenian media.
“In general, the meeting is expected to take place either in Yerevan or Baku. Discussions to find a mutually acceptable solution will continue, and we will inform the public once an agreement is reached,” Badalyan stated.
The statement follows remarks by Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov, who suggested hosting the next meeting in Baku, with a subsequent session to be held in Armenia, during a joint press conference with his Iranian counterpart Abbas Araghchi.
