Yerevan seeks wider access for Armenian exports in EU markets
Armenian Economy Minister Gevorg Papoyan met with heads of diplomatic missions and chargés d’affaires of the European Union and its member states accredited in Armenia to discuss programs aimed at strengthening and developing the country’s economic resilience.
The participants addressed issues related to expanding export opportunities for Armenian products and facilitating trade with European markets.
Papoyan stated that Armenian products are fully competitive with goods offered on the European market, meet the highest quality standards, and hold GLOBALG.A.P. certification along with all other required certifications.
“We have made significant progress in improving the business environment and raising quality standards. Today, many Armenian companies are ready not only to increase exports but also to establish long-term partnerships with European buyers,” the minister said.
