Yerevan signals high-level presence at funeral of Georgia’s Patriarch Ilia II

Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan held a phone conversation with his Georgian counterpart Irakli Kobakhidze to personally convey condolences following the death of the Catholicos-Patriarch of Georgia.

According to Georgian media cited by Caliber.Az, Kobakhidze expressed gratitude for the message of sympathy and support.

During the call, Pashinyan stated that the Armenian authorities will be represented at the funeral of the Catholicos-Patriarch at the highest level.
