Yerevan submits note of protest to Russian ambassador

Russian Ambassador to Armenia Sergei Kopyrkin was summoned to the Foreign Ministry of Armenia on October 23 in connection with the program “Dolls of the heir Tutti. Nikol Pashinyan: a harbinger of trouble,” which was aired on Russia's state-owned Channel One.

“During the program, offensive and completely unacceptable statements were made against high-ranking officials of Armenia. During the meeting, the ambassador was given a corresponding note of protest,” the Armenian Foreign Ministry said in a statement, Caliber.Az informs, citing Sputnik Armenia.

During the program, unpleasant statements were made about Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. The head of the opposition bloc “Mother Armenia” Andranik Tevanyan also took part in the program.
