Zelensky has not ruled out Moscow talks, Kremlin says

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has not rejected Russia’s invitation to come to Moscow for talks, Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said.

Peskov made the remarks at a briefing while commenting on Zelenskyy’s profane statement that he was ready to fly to the Russian capital “on a missile.”

“Zelenskyy has not refused to come to Moscow; at least, I have not heard that he has,” Peskov said.

The Kremlin spokesperson noted that Zelenskyy “is currently making many statements on the sidelines of the [UN] General Assembly in New York.”

The remarks came after Zelenskyy said he would travel to Moscow “on a missile,” a comment that drew a response from Russian officials.
