What topics will Zelenskyy and Erdoğan cover? UPDATED
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan will discuss bilateral relations, regional developments and efforts to secure a ceasefire, a Turkish official said.
The agenda for talks in Istanbul will include the wider regional situation, alongside initiatives aimed at achieving a lasting truce, particularly within the framework of the Istanbul process, according to Burhanettin Duran, head of communications at the Turkish presidency, APA reports.
The discussions are expected to focus on cooperation between Ukraine and Türkiye, as well as diplomatic efforts to de-escalate ongoing conflicts and explore sustainable solutions.

On April 4, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy arrived in Istanbul for talks with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, according to Ukrainian officials.
A statement from presidential spokesperson Serhii Nykyforov, cited by Ukrinform, said Zelenskyy travelled to Istanbul for discussions with Erdoğan.
In his evening address on April 1, Zelenskyy said that National Security and Defence Council Secretary Rustem Umerov is continuing work with countries interested in Ukraine’s security expertise, with long-term agreements under preparation.
