Zelenskyy imposes new sanctions on Russian, Chinese, Belarusian entities
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has imposed new sanctions on 56 Russian individuals and 55 legal entities, the majority of which are Russian manufacturing companies and firms. The measures also target six legal entities from China and one from Belarus.
According to Caliber.Az, the decree was published on the official website of the Ukrainian president’s office.
The sanctions were introduced under Article 107 of Ukraine’s Constitution, based on a decision by the National Security and Defence Council (NSDC) of Ukraine dated June 20, 2025, titled “On the application of personal special economic and other restrictive measures (sanctions).”
The decree assigns oversight of the sanctions’ enforcement to the Secretary of the NSDC. It officially enters into force on the date of its publication.
