Azerbaijani eco-activists protest in Khankendi-Lachin road for 47 days

Despite the frosty weather, the protest on the Khankendi-Lachin road against the illegal exploitation of mineral deposits in Azerbaijan's Karabakh economic region has been going on for 47 days.

Eco-activists, as in the first days of the demonstrations, are very active, Report informs.

The action, which began on the morning of December 12 last year, continued on the night of January 27. The participants of the action demonstrate firm will and perseverance.

They are provided with hot meals and a place to stay overnight. Safety rules are observed during the demonstrations, no incidents were recorded during the night.

Eco-activists traditionally began the day with the performance of Azerbaijan's national anthem, followed by patriotic songs.
