Shusha hosts international conference on forming new world order, foreign ruling MPs join PHOTO
An international conference titled “The New World Order: Geopolitical Aspects and Global Challenges” is currently underway in the city of Shusha, organised by the New Azerbaijan Party.
The event commenced with a moment of silence honouring the memory of the national leader of the Azerbaijani people, Heydar Aliyev, as well as the fallen sons of the homeland from friendly nations who sacrificed their lives for the independence and sovereignty of their countries. The national anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was then performed, Caliber.Az reports, citing local media.
Adalat Valiyev, Head of the Department for Relations with Political Parties and Legislative Authorities at the Presidential Administration, delivered a message from President of Azerbaijan and Chairman of the New Azerbaijani Party, Ilham Aliyev, addressed to the conference attendees.
The conference brings together leaders of ruling parties from several countries. Following the opening ceremony, the event will proceed with panel sessions focusing on the following themes: “National Sovereignty, Regional Cooperation, and Global Security: Political Paradigms of a New Era,” “Solidarity in the Pursuit of Justice: The Role of Political Parties,” and “Shared Values and Artificial Intelligence: Emerging Threats and Opportunities.”
