Baykar Technology has opened a new enterprise - Fergani Uzay/Fergani Sky, SavunmaSanayiST.com reported on its Twitter page.

Caliber.Az reports that according to Selcuk Bayraktar, the company will launch activities related to space.

Orbital vehicles and low-orbit command satellite constellations are on the agenda.

"We are doing research on communications and global positioning systems, and on the other hand, orbital vehicles, which in a sense are like buses, have to go into orbit after launch. These vehicles do not yet exist in the world," Selcuk said.

"We believe that our space initiative, called Ferghani, will contribute to humanity's development in this area as well," he added.
