New German defence minister to visit Ukraine soon
Newly appointed German Defence Minister Boris Pistorius is planning to visit Ukraine soon.
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to a statement by Pistorius during a press conference after visiting the Operational Command of the Bundeswehr.
“In the near future my visit to Ukraine will take place,” Pistorius said.
However, the minister does not name the exact date, but noted that this will be his first visit to the “crisis region”.
In addition, Pistorius did not want to comment on the provision of F-16 aircraft to the AFU, calling the issue "hypothetical" at the present time. He stated that he would not answer hypothetical questions, while referring to Chancellor Scholz, who said the other day that there was no talk of deliveries of combat aircraft to Ukraine yet.
