Azerbaijan, US discuss joint co-op on green energy initiatives

Azerbaijan and the US discussed joint cooperation on the expansion of the Southern Gas Corridor and Azerbaijan's initiatives in the field of green energy, Azerbaijani Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov wrote on Twitter.

According to Caliber.Az, Shahbazov met with Laura Lohman, Advisor to the Deputy Secretary of State for Energy Diplomacy, who arrived in Azerbaijan to attend the 9th ministerial meeting of the Southern Gas Corridor Advisory Council and the first ministerial meeting of the Green Energy Advisory Council.

"At the meeting with Laura Lochman, US Deputy Assistant Secretary for Energy Diplomacy in the Bureau of Energy Resources, we discussed joint cooperation on the expansion of the Southern Gas Corridor and Azerbaijan's Green Energy initiatives," the minister wrote.
