Azerbaijan-Belarus business forum yields $18.9 million in contracts
A total of $18.9 million worth of contracts were signed during the Azerbaijan-Belarus business forum held in Baku, according to Mikhail Myatlikov, Chairman of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Speaking to journalists, Myatlikov noted that 12 agreements were concluded, including three signed online, Caliber.Az reports, citing local media.
“There was a strong turnout from Azerbaijani businesses. Many participants were already familiar with each other, reflecting the close ties between our business communities, while others were making their first contacts,” he said.
On the forum’s second day, individual B2B meetings were scheduled between Belarusian and Azerbaijani companies. Myatlikov confirmed that Azerbaijani businesses have accepted invitations to participate in the upcoming “Belagro” exhibition in Belarus this June, while 17 Belarusian companies will take part in the Caspian Agro exhibition in Baku from May 13 to 16.
Among the key deals signed:

OJSC “Mostovdrev” signed three contracts with CJSC “Sosna” for the supply of plywood, laminated flooring, and MDF boards.

OJSC “Kamvol” reached agreements with Smart Style MMC and OJSC “Baku Garment House” for textile deliveries.

JV OJSC “Spartak” signed a contract with AZNUR for the supply of confectionery products.

LLC “Borkof-Agro” and LLC “Stapri-Azerbaijan” signed a letter of intent for rubber tile supplies.

A cooperation agreement was concluded between BelOMO’s R&D Center “LEMT” and the National Aviation Academy of Azerbaijan Airlines.

A remote memorandum of cooperation was signed between OJSC “Belshina,” LLC “Azertekhnika,” and LLC “Azbelshin” for tire deliveries to the region in 2025–2026.
In a parallel development, Belarus also announced plans to expand cooperation with Azerbaijan in the defence sector. Dmitry Pantus, Chairman of the Belarusian State Authority for Military Industry, stated that both countries are working on joint military production projects, some of which will take place in Azerbaijan.
“Military-technical cooperation between Belarus and Azerbaijan is strategic and long-standing. We are now moving toward producing joint military products, including with Azerbaijan’s defence industry,” Pantus told reporters in Baku.
The forum marks another step forward in the growing trade and industrial partnership between the two countries.
