Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan central banks discuss deeper cooperation PHOTO

The Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) and the Central Bank of Uzbekistan (CBU) have discussed ways to deepen bilateral cooperation during a meeting in Uzbekistan.

Vusal Khalilov, deputy chairman of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, met Nodirbek Saydullayev, first deputy chairman of the Central Bank of Uzbekistan, during a working visit to the country, Caliber.Az reports per CBA.

The sides discussed existing approaches and prospects for developing an innovative financial ecosystem and financial technologies, as well as improving access to financing for specialised organisations in the sector.

They also exchanged views on expanding opportunities for institutional cooperation.
