Azerbaijan champions digital finance, innovation at Tashkent forum
Vusal Khalilov, Deputy Chairman of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA), participated as a speaker at the first Silk Road Finance and Technology Forum in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
Khalilov spoke during a panel discussion titled “Regulating the Boundaries – Artificial Intelligence and Tokenization,” where he addressed the opportunities and challenges arising from the rapid development of financial technologies, Caliber.Az reports per local media.
He also discussed the need to adapt regulatory frameworks to evolving technological trends and examined the potential impact of artificial intelligence and tokenization on the future of financial services.
The CBA official also briefed participants on the regulator’s initiatives to advance financial technologies in Azerbaijan, expand digital financial services and promote the integration of innovative solutions across the country’s financial sector.
