Azerbaijan has facilitated another shipment of goods from Russia to Armenia via its territory, further contributing to the expansion of regional transit links.

Some 14 railcars carrying 976 tons of wheat and one railcar loaded with 65 tons of timber were dispatched from Bilajari station toward Boyuk-Kasik, Caliber.Az reports per local media.

The latest shipment adds to a growing volume of Russian goods transported to Armenia through Azerbaijan. To date, the transit route has carried more than 50,000 tons of grain, around 9,000 tons of fertilizer, 1,414 tons of propane, 133 tons of aluminum, 1,114 tons of coal and 67 tons of timber.

At the same time, Azerbaijan has supplied Armenia with approximately 15,000 tons of diesel fuel and around 5,000 tons of AI-92 and AI-95 gasoline.
