Azerbaijan, Germany seek new railway partnerships through Bavaria initiative

Azerbaijani railway specialists and representatives of relevant government institutions have been invited to Germany for a business visit focused on strengthening cooperation in the railway sector.

According to local media, the visit will take place from November 23 to 27, 2026, as part of the “Bavaria — Ready for Partnership” initiative, with support from the German-Azerbaijani Chamber of Commerce (AHK Azerbaijan).

During the visit, the Azerbaijani delegation will examine advanced German technologies and innovative solutions for the railway industry and visit key companies and facilities operating in the sector.

The program will also include B2B meetings between Azerbaijani participants and German businesses.

Discussions are expected to focus on practical solutions for modernising Azerbaijan’s railway infrastructure, while the visit will provide opportunities to establish direct business ties with Bavarian suppliers and industry experts.
