Azerbaijan's oil output totals 9.1 million tonnes During first four months of 2025 / Photo
Oil production with condensate in Azerbaijan from January to April 2025 amounted to 9.1 million tonnes, said Minister of Energy, Parviz Shahbazov on X.
According to Shahbazov, export volumes reached 7.8 million tons, Caliber.Az reports.
During this period, 16.7 billion cubic meters of gas were produced, with 8 billion cubic meters exported.
To recall, Azerbaijan's oil and gas production in 2024 reached notable figures, with approximately 29.1 million tons of oil and condensate produced. The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) contributed 7.5 million tons from its operated fields. In terms of natural gas, Azerbaijan produced around 45.8 billion cubic meters (bcm), with SOCAR accounting for 7.7 bcm.
Gas exports included 12.9 bcm to Europe, 9.9 bcm to Türkiye, and over 2.4 bcm to Georgia. The Southern Gas Corridor, particularly the Trans-Anatolian Pipeline (TANAP), plays a crucial role in delivering gas to European markets.
