European Commissioner: EU, Azerbaijan, partner countries working together to ensure energy security

European Commissioner for Energy Kadri Simson has said that the discussions are being held amid the globally changing energy markets.

Simson made these remarks at the ninth ministerial meeting within the Southern Gas Corridor Advisory Council and the first ministerial meeting within the Green Energy Advisory Council in Baku on February 3, according to Azertag.

“Global growth is under threat. Energy security is the first issue that makes us think. For this reason, the meetings of the advisory boards today are a good opportunity. This shows that the European Union, Azerbaijan and partner countries are working together to ensure energy security and market stability,” Simson added.
