Earthquake pushes Türkiye to halt operations at Ceyhan oil terminal

Türkiye has halted operations at the Ceyhan oil terminal after a major earthquake struck nearby early on February 6, Reuters informs, citing the Istanbul-based Tribeca shipping agency.

An emergency meeting is expected to be held on the issue, according to the agency.

Türkiye's pipeline operator BOTAS said there were no damages on the main pipelines.

Tribeca said ports in southeastern Türkiye are affected by the quake and reported some delays in operations.
