About 70 Russian peacekeeper cars freely move along Khankendi-Lachin road

Another 23 vehicles of Russian peacekeepers have passed unhindered along the Khankendi-Lachin road.
Two passenger cars and 21 supply and support vehicles moved from Lachin towards Khankendi, Report informs.
The protesters did not interfere with the movement of vehicles used for humanitarian purposes.
Earlier, a medical vehicle of Russian peacekeepers drove unimpeded along the Khankendi-Lachin road.
A total of 69 vehicles of Russian peacekeepers drove unimpeded along the Khankendi-Lachin road as of March 22.

The protest action on the Khankendi-Lachin road has been going on for 101 days.
As a result of negotiations held on December 3 and 7, 2022 with the Russian peacekeeping command, a delegation consisting of specialists from the economy, ecology and natural resources ministries, the State Property Service under the Economy Ministry and the AzerGold company had to conduct preliminary monitoring of the illegal exploitation of mineral deposits on the territory of Azerbaijan, where peacekeepers are temporarily stationed, as well as related environmental and other problems. However, due to the inaction of the peacekeepers, monitoring did not take place.
On December 12, 2022, Azerbaijani eco-activists, volunteers and representatives of civil society began a peaceful protest action demanding an end to environmental terrorism and the illegal exploitation of mineral deposits.
