Azerbaijani envoy hails expansion of TAP pipeline PHOTO

The expansion of the Trans Adriatic Pipeline (TAP) up to 20 billion cubic metres is an excellent step.

The ambassador of Azerbaijan to Bulgaria Huseyn Huseynov made the statement on his Twitter account, Caliber.Az reports.

The ambassador said the export of Azerbaijani gas to Europe via TAP reached 11.4 billion cubic metres in 2022.

“Export of Azerbaijani gas via TAP to Europe amounted to 11.4 BCM in 2022. Expansion of TAP potential to 20 BCM is great and the ‘Solidarity Ring’ project initiated by Bulgaria might be a way to exploit the new trends at best and adapt Azerbaijani resources to the new European markets,” he added.
