Azerbaijani president lays foundation stone for Kalbajar District’s Yanshaq village PHOTO

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev laid a foundation stone for Kalbajar District’s Yanshaq village.

Chairman of the State Committee for Affairs of Refugees and IDPs Rovshan Rzayev briefed the Azerbaijani president on the works to be done in the village, Azertag reports.

A total of 421 families are planned to be settled in the village of Yanshag. The first phase will see the construction of one-storey houses for the relocation of 218 families.

There will be 50 two-apartment, 112 three-apartment, 41 four-apartment and 15 five-apartment houses. The village will have a 264-seat school and 80-seat kindergarten.

The “green energy” will be used to light houses and streets.

Then, the Azerbaijani president watched a video about the village development plan.

The head of state also laid stone for Kalbajar District’s Zallar village.

The total projected area of the village is 137 hectares. A total of 487 families are scheduled to be settled in the village. The first phase will see the construction of one-storey houses for 350 families. There will be 100 two-apartment, 167 three-apartment, 57 four-apartment and 26 five-apartment houses. The village will have a 360-seat school and 120-seat kindergarten. The “green energy” will also be used to light houses and streets.

Furtehrmore, President Aliyev lauched the “Gamishli” Small Hydroelectric Power Station in the district.

“Azerenergy” OJSC President Baba Rzayev informed the head of state of the work done in the station.

The “Gamishli” Small Hydroelectric Power Station, which had been dismantled and destroyed by Armenians leaving Kalbajar, was completely reconstructed by “Azerenergy”. The main generator hall was built for the 6.3 MW “Gamishli” Small Hydroelectric Power Station.

The 110 kW substation was constructed at the “Gamishli” station, which is consisted of two hydro turbine units. A SCADA control system was installed at the station.

The “Gamishli” Small Hydroelectric Power Station has the 18.5 million kWh capacity.
