Egypt, Iran to meet to restore bilateral relations

Delegations from Egypt and Iran will hold a meeting soon to work out a roadmap for restoring relations between the two countries.

TASS reports citing Al-Hadath TV that representatives of the two countries will hold consultations in one of the countries in the region in the near future to form a bilateral committee to work out a mechanism to restore relations between Cairo and Tehran.

According to Al-Hadath, the mediators are working on topics that can be discussed during the upcoming meeting, including issues on which the sides differ. Political and security experts are expected to participate in the first round of consultations.
