Biden's envoy on Iran: US considering military solution

US Administration Special Representative for Iran Robert Malley has said that after the relevant decision is made, the Islamic Republic will need only two weeks to obtain enough enriched uranium to produce a nuclear charge.

“We will let them know that we are considering all options if they decide to become nuclear weapons. However, we believe that the most effective method is to use diplomatic means,” he said in an interview with NPR.

Asked if this is a military solution to the problem, the administration official recalled that US President Joe Biden had already said that such an option was being considered. Malley also criticized the previous administration for withdrawing from the Iran deal.
