Türkiye delivers YÖRUK 4X4 to five countries PHOTO

The Turkish armoured wheeled vehicle Yörük 4X4 produced by the Nurol Makina company has been handed over to the country’s security structures.

Thanks to its high manoeuvrability, the YÖRUK 4X4 makes a significant contribution to the protection of strategically important facilities, including the Turkish presidential administration, Anadolu reports.

The SARP ZAFER Remotely Operated Stabilized Armament System by ASELSAN is installed on the armoured vehicle with ballistic and mine-resistant protection.

Thanks to its modular design, the YÖRUK 4X4 can be used for air target fighting, patrolling and reconnaissance missions.

The YÖRUK 4X4 can be armed with 7.62mm and 12.7mm machine guns, 40mm grenade launchers or anti-tank weapons.

These armoured vehicles can reach speeds of over 120 km/h. Weighing 8 tons, YÖRUK 4X4 can carry up to 11 people.

Nurol Makina has also developed a pick-up version of the YÖRUK 4X4 to meet different customer requirements.

The YÖRUK 4X4 was first unveiled at IDEF 2017 and attracted the attention of many countries while it was still under development.

Nurol Makina has signed contracts with 5 countries, including from Europe, to export the YÖRUK 4X4.
