Azerbaijani army positions come under Armenian fire

The Armenian armed forces have shelled the Azerbaijani military positions stationed in Kalbajar and Gadabay regions, the Azerbaijani Defence Ministry said.
“The Armenian armed forces fired at the positions of Azerbaijani Army in the direction of Istisu, Goysu of Basarkechar region from their positions in Istisu, Kalbajar and Galakand of Gadabey region from June 5 till June 6 at 22:50 and at 04:40,” the ministry said in a statement, Caliber.Az reports.
Azerbaijani army units took adequate response measures in all the mentioned directions.
In addition, members of the illegal Armenian armed formations attempted to install long-term fortifications in front of the Azerbaijani army's positions located in the Agdam, Khojavand, Fuzuli and Kalbajar regions.
As a result of the urgent measures taken by the Azerbaijani units, the work was stopped immediately.
