Kremlin comments on worsening situation in Armenia

Russian presidential spokesperson Dmitry Peskov has said that dialogues on the situation in Armenia are currently underway at various levels.

“Dialogue is underway with Armenia at various levels, especially in this difficult period,” Peskov noted during a briefing with journalists, according to Gazeta.ru.

He said that Russian President Vladimir Putin had a phone talk with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.

Moreover, Peskov emphasised that the Russian Federation does not agree with attempts to blame Russian peacekeepers for anything.

“We will continue holding the dialogue with the Armenian side and Pashinyan, we will continue working for all rights of the Garabagh Armenians to be observed,” the press secretary said.
