Azerbaijan to carry out registration of Garabagh Armenians

Azerbaijan will soon start the registration of its Armenian residents living in the Garabagh economic region.

In order to ensure the sustainable reintegration of Armenian residents living in the Garabagh economic region of the Republic of Azerbaijan into Azerbaijani society and creating opportunities for them to enjoy the patronage of the Azerbaijani state, the working group for resolving social, humanitarian, economic and infrastructural issues in the Garabagh region was given instructions related to the establishment of legal status of these persons, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Administration of the Azerbaijani President.

“As part of this activity, the first stage provides for the registration of persons living in the Garabagh economic region. Reception of applications and the registration process will be carried out electronically by the State Migration Service through a special portal created for this purpose, ensuring maximum convenience for applicants and accessibility of information.

Pre-registration will create conditions for the effective use of all government services by Armenian residents living in the Karabakh economic region, as well as meeting their socio-economic and humanitarian needs.

The Administration of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan brings to your attention that for pre-registration, Armenian residents living in the Garabagh economic region can voluntarily apply to the portal reintegration.gov.az or through the means of communication below (phone, WhatsApp, email).
