29th General Assembly of European Shooting Confederation kicks off in Baku
The 29th General Assembly of the European Shooting Confederation has started its work in Baku.
The event is attended by President of the International Shooting Sport Federation Luciano Rossi, President of the European Shooting Confederation Alexander Ratner, Deputy Minister of Youth and Sport of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mariana Vasileva and representatives of about 50 European countries, Report informs.
Mariana Vasileva, who opened the ceremony with an introductory speech, welcomed everyone on behalf of the Ministry of Youth and Sports and noted that shooting is one of the popular sports in Azerbaijan: "I can confidently say that the right decisions will be made at the 29th General Assembly. I wish each of you good luck".
The biennial assembly will be organised to vote for the countries that will host the European Championships in the coming years and discuss the development directions of the federations.
