Minister: Successful work underway to improve Azerbaijani Army
Defence Minister Zakir Hasanov has outlined an ongoing successful work to improve the Azerbaijani Army based on the Turkish model.
He made the remarks in an interview with REAL TV, according to Report.
"Work is being successfully carried out to improve the Azerbaijani Army on the Turkish model. There are already positive results," he said.
The minister noted that after the 44-day war with Armenia, Azerbaijan eliminated shortcomings in the army.
"The whole world is under the control of military-scientific armies. Recent military clashes show that this issue needs to be taken very seriously. After the war, we eliminated the shortcomings in this direction, and have already created a new system using the experience of the Turkish Armed Forces," Hasanov said.
