Aeroflot plane diverts to Kazakhstan after passenger’s condition deteriorates

An Aeroflot flight from Antalya to Yekaterinburg made an emergency landing at Atyrau Airport in Kazakhstan after the condition of a 41-year-old passenger suddenly deteriorated, according to Kazakh media.

The passenger became seriously ill during the flight, prompting the crew to change course and land in Atyrau so that he could receive medical assistance.

Despite the assistance provided, the 41-year-old man died.

The unscheduled landing delayed the flight's arrival in Yekaterinburg by 2 hours and 25 minutes.
