Air Arabia to resume flights to Russia
Popular foreign airline Air Arabia has decided to resume operations to Russia, says a statement published on the Telegram channel of the Association of Tour Operators of Russia (ATOR).
The statement noted that from June 20, the carrier will partially resume flights G9 805/806 on the Sharjah – Moscow (Domodedovo) – Sharjah route, while from June 27 additional flights G9 958/959 on the same route will be introduced. At the same time, the temporary suspension of other flights between the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Russia has been extended until August 31 inclusive.
Passengers affected by cancellations have been offered a one-time free rescheduling of their departure within one week of the original travel date or a free cancellation option.
In early March, thousands of Russian passengers were stranded in third countries due to airspace closures in the Middle East. Most were passengers of Air Arabia, Qatar Airways, Emirates, Flydubai, Gulf Air, and Oman Air.
