Air defences destroy drone approaching Moscow, says mayor

Air defence forces have destroyed an unmanned aerial vehicle heading toward the city of Moscow, Sergey Sobyanin, the mayor of the Russian capital, stated in the messaging app “Max”.

He added that emergency services are currently working at the site where debris from the downed drone fell. Moscow authorities have not reported any further details at this stage.
