Al Jazeera: Iran ready for ceasefire talks "if red lines observed"

A high-ranking Iranian security official has said that Iran is ready to start a line of negotiation, only "if its red lines are observed and considered."

The official, speaking to Al Jazeera’s correspondent in Tehran, stressed that Israel’s current strategy has not fulfilled its objectives and they are starting new ways of attacking, Caliber.Az reports.

The official said Iran was not going to agree to stop striking back under the current circumstances.

The official also said any potential US intervention would run the risk of dragging the entire region into war.

"That sounds like a very clear message to the Americans," he added.
