Media: Israeli strikes kill at least 43 people in Gaza
On April 6, at least 43 people were killed as a result of Israeli strikes on targets in the Gaza Strip.
The largest number of victims was recorded in the town of Khan Younis in the south of the Gaza Strip - at least 19 people were killed there, Caliber.Az reports, citing Al Jazeera.
In addition, 11 people, including 9 children, were killed as a result of artillery shelling of the Et-Tuffah neighborhood in Gaza City.
Following the collapse of the ceasefire between Israel and Hamas, there has been a significant escalation in hostilities, resulting in substantial civilian casualties and worsening humanitarian conditions in Gaza.
The renewed conflict has severely impacted Gaza's civilian population. Over a million children have been without essential humanitarian aid for more than a month due to blocked aid routes. Critical shortages of food, water, shelter, and medical supplies are reported, with nearly 10,000 infants under six months requiring supplementary feeding. UNICEF has called for the reopening of humanitarian corridors, emphasizing that denying aid violates international law.
