Among the victims of a train crash in Germany, two refugees from Ukraine

In Germany, the elimination of the effects and the clarification of the causes of the train crash, which killed 5 people, continues.

Authorities have identified four dead, women aged 32, 39 and 70, and one teenager, Euronews reports.

According to the Bild am Sontag newspaper, two of the dead are Ukrainian citizens who arrived in Germany as refugees. The identity of another victim, a woman over 50, is yet to be established. The condition of one of the 44 people injured remains critical.

The crash happened on Friday near the town of Garmisch-Partenkirchen in Bavaria. Three carriages derailed and overturned. The causes of the accident are still unknown. Experts suggest a technical malfunction.
