Analysis raises questions over drone trajectory in Russia's Novokuybyshevsk photo / video
An OSINT analysis by ASTRA suggests that one of the drones involved in the recent attack on may have missed its intended target and entered a residential area.
According to the analysis, eyewitness footage was recorded on Gorky Street, located approximately 2.5 kilometres from the Novokuybyshevsk oil refinery. The assessment of the drone’s likely flight path indicates that it may have passed the refinery and deviated from its presumed target area.

ASTRA previously reported a fire at the Novokuybyshevsk oil refinery. Separately, in the morning hours in Syzran, a fire also broke out at the Syzran oil refinery following an attack.
Samara region Governor Vyacheslav Fedorishchev stated that industrial facilities in both Novokuybyshevsk and Syzran were struck.
Both refineries belong to Rosneft’s Samara refining group.
