Another drone strike hits Odesa, six injured and infrastructure damaged PHOTO
On the night of 4 December, Odesa came under a massive attack by Russian drones, resulting in six people injured and significant damage to local infrastructure.
According to Ukraine’s State Emergency Service (SES), one of the strikes triggered a fire at an energy facility. In addition, an administrative building, seven residential apartment blocks, and several nearby cars were damaged. The blast wave trapped two residents in their apartments, but rescuers and police quickly freed them and handed them over to medical personnel.
The fire at the energy site was promptly contained, despite a renewed air-raid alert. SES teams, including psychologists, assisted 33 affected citizens, six of them children.
For residents of the damaged buildings, Shelter Points of Invincibility were set up by the SES, the Red Cross, and city authorities, providing essential support to those in need.
