Armenia becoming arena of conflict between powers - pundit
Member of “Alternative Projects” group Vahe Hovhannisyan has made a Facebook post, saying that Armenia is going to be an arena of conflict between powers.
"After Munich and Paris, a new reality has emerged for Armenia. One man makes unilateral and possibly fatal decisions, and at that moment there is no mechanism that can hold him back. This means that for the time being he will do what he wants," a post by Hovhannisyan says, Caliber.Az reports.
“If we continue to act according to the old inertia, a new series of catastrophes will await us, the scale and consequences of which are impossible to predict. The parameters of this new reality are that Armenia is becoming an arena of open conflict between major powers. Nikol Pashinyan makes the format of a regional "bullfight" 2+1: Azerbaijan, Türkiye + Russia. Next comes Iran. If before the conflict between the centers of power in Armenia was more or less in compliance with the country's sovereignty and the rules of the game, now this will not be the case. We will see any manifestation of conflict, and the author of this extremely dangerous new rule of the game is Armenia.
The government system will start to "fail" at some point. They will go for total imitation of work. Repressions will further accelerate this process. Today, no normal person wants to work with this government. Internal confusion, internal multiple, multi-vector ugly processes, unrest. The internal homeostasis of the state is broken. Society is left without a master.
The authorities' adventurous behavior always leads to external vulnerability and internal powerlessness of the state. In such a situation, powerlessness and defenselessness are almost synonymous. And in Armenia no one will feel protected, on the other hand, it becomes a factor uniting everyone," Hovhannisyan posted.
