Armenia, Netherlands hold high-level political consultations in Yerevan
The Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Armenia and the Netherlands held political consultations in Yerevan, chaired by Armenian Deputy Foreign Minister Vahan Kostanyan and Marcel de Vink, Director General for Political Affairs at the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Both sides welcomed the strong level of bilateral relations and the ongoing political dialogue between the two countries, Caliber.Az reports via Armenian media.
Discussions focused on upcoming initiatives outlined in the Armenia-Netherlands Strategic Partnership Declaration, including cooperation in countering hybrid threats.
Officials also addressed the broader agenda of Armenia’s strategic partnership with the European Union and the importance of deepening bilateral collaboration within this framework.
Deputy Foreign Minister Kostanyan highlighted new opportunities to expand economic cooperation in the region and beyond, emphasising the potential created by the peace established between Armenia and Azerbaijan following the Washington agreements signed on August 8 this year.
