Armenia outlines dual-track policy between EAEU and EU

Armenia is not currently considering a referendum on its membership in the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) or the European Union (EU), according to Secretary of the Security Council Armen Grigoryan. 

He said that Yerevan’s official position is to continue balancing its engagement within both frameworks, maintaining participation “as long as it is possible,” Caliber.Az reports via Armenian media.

Grigoryan further expressed confidence that relations with Russia will normalize following the parliamentary elections. 

He described recent tensions as driven by heightened emotions and noted that, starting the next day, Armenia would be able to address outstanding issues with its Russian partners.
