Armenia, Qatar explore new economic opportunities amid regional changes
Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Vahan Kostanyan met with Qatar’s Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Mohammed Al Khulaifi on the sidelines of the Second World Summit for Social Development in Doha.
According to Caliber.Az, citing Armenian media, the Armenian Foreign Ministry said that the meeting focused on advancing bilateral cooperation between Armenia and Qatar.
The two sides discussed in detail prospects for deepening ties and highlighted the new economic opportunities emerging in light of the lifting of blockades on regional infrastructure in the South Caucasus.
Kostanyan and Al Khulaifi also exchanged views on recent developments in the Middle East, particularly concerning Palestine and Syria. Both officials expressed appreciation for Qatar’s mediation efforts and its role in supporting regional security and stability.
